Process belts
GKD process belts represent the world's leading conveyor belt technology. As an integral part of manufacturing processes, the quality, design and service life of the belts are the key factors for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Synthetic fabric belts made from polyester, polyamide, PPS or PEEK are used both for solid/liquid separation in belt filter presses or vacuum filters and as forming belts and drying belts in the production of nonwovens. Metal fabric belts made of steel, stainless steel or bronze – also available as hybrid fabric belts in combination with synthetic material – are the core products for freezing, drying or dehydration processes. GKD metal fabric belts are used wherever the strictest requirements must be met, such as in terms of transverse stability or belt tracking.
