Filter belts made of synthetic and metal fabric from GKD are used in belt filters to filter impurities out of cooling lubricants.

GKD has developed VACUBELT® filter belts with extremely fine pores for use in vacuum belt filters and gravity belt filters. Even with low filter cake volumes, these belts do not require any additional filtration aids. GKD filter belts of the VACUBELT® series are manufactured from single layer polyester fabrics and stainless steel fabrics and have a flat clipper seam connection. Optionally, metal belts can be provided with a welding seam.
