POC

POC elements are also referred to as diesel particle filters. They are used in the exhaust train of diesel vehicles, either as part of the complete filter system or as a retrofit kit for existing vehicles and systems.

POC elements are produced by GKD as pleated and wound wire mesh components. This requires high-temperature-resistant materials. Volumetric mesh in particular has proven highly beneficial for this application. POC elements from GKD guarantee both good filtration rates and at the same high permeability during operation. The closed production chain of mesh production, necessary mechanical and thermal post-treatment, as well as ultimate manufacturing of the POC elements ensures precisely coordinated processes. POC strips are also supplied as semi-finished products to OEM manufacturers, who then produce the finished elements themselves in accordance with the respective filter application.
