GKD Group Africa, a subsidiary of GKD Gebr. Kufferath AG, Germany, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of filtration, screening media and equipment and architectural meshes in Africa. Our global experience spans over nine decades and we have presence in nine countries, in five continents. Our local subsidiary was born in the same year that the country attained democracy.

Globally, we service various sectors including mining, mineral processing, automobile, aerospace, medical, environmental, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, textile and wood and paper processing industries as well as architecture. Our expertise includes engineering, design, manufacturing, lab testing, installation, maintenance, condition-monitoring and operational support. Locally, we offer a full, end-to-end, range of filtration and dewatering equipment and screening media for various industries including mining and mineral processing; waste water treatment; pulp and paper, food and oil. We also supply architectural meshes that have been used in prominent buildings such as the JDA building in Newtown; Sanral’s HQ and the Stats SA building in Pretoria and the Puma Head office in Cape Town.
